Foden lorries of the 1920s - 1970s | Classic Fodens in preservation

For decades the Foden lorry company provided employment in the Cheshire town of Sandbach, and preserved Fodens from this famous British lorry manufacturer make up this commercial vehicle video.
Fodens of all shapes and sizes feature. The earliest here date to the late 1920s, the majority though date to the 1930s - 1970s time period, including a few vintage Foden steam wagons.
The classic Fodens in this collection includes example(s) of the S18, S20, S20, OG, S41, FE4 etc etc, with flatbeds, tipper lorries, dropside trucks, recovery vehicles and timber tractors rubbing shoulders with a number of PSVs (Public Service Vehicles - coaches etc).
One of my favourites in this collection is a wonderful Foden aviation fuel tanker, as is the late-40s Foden recovery truck that hauled my old Dodge back from Donington Park in 1995.
