Welcome back, educators.
Let’s public the document to the web, using the link,
Then the iframe tag to embed it.
To start, open the File menu, then click Publish to the web.
Will pop-up the Publish to the web window. Click the arrow to expand it.
Activate the checkbox to update it automatically.
You could make it visible just from your organization members.
Click the button to start the publishing.
Click Ok to confirm.
Copy the link.
Then paste it into Omnibox of the browser.
The published document will update every 5 minutes.
Now, jump to the embed tab on the Publish to the web window.
Copy the iframe and embed it within the Google sites page.
What is the iframe?
It is an HTML tag. Used to embed a webpage within another webpage.
Let’s embed the document into Google sites. First, create a new site.
To start, click Embed on the sidebar.
Jump to the Embed code tab.
Paste the code that you’ve copied from Google Docs.
Change the width and height of the iframe.
Then click Next.
Click the Insert button.
And here is it, successfully embedded.
Now, click the Publish button.
Type the site name, then click Publish.
Click the arrow, then View published site.
And this how looks the embedded document with google sites.
