In this video I make a simple DIY jet burner from common parts. This burner is hot! I estimate to be around 200,000-300,000 BTUs or more at 5 psi. Also since this video I have added a refinement to the intake (the open bottom) by using some metal tape and covering part of the open bottom. This allows me to control the flame right from a small reducing flame right up to a roaring one like in the video.

This burner can be used for heating large pots of oil or water.

Total cost in parts was around $30, not including the regulator and propane tank.
