Human beings are designed for relationship. When relationships are forged across cultures, we expand the limited way in which we see the world and our place in it. Kari Cope explains why shared language is the tool that most effectively enables us to cultivate meaningful connections. Cope teaches high school Spanish and English and is the author of There’s Always Water in the Wilderness, which looks closely at the specific language used in the Bible. She has traveled to over 25 countries and serves on the Board of Directors for international organizations Atulado and Missionary Athletes International.
