Installing the OptiMate Charging lead to my BMW R1250GS

I already have an Optimate 4 battery charger for my other bike. Rather than buy a separate Can Bus charger for the BMW, costing £90-100, I have merely purchased a new Optimate battery lead and connected it directly to the BM's battery.

This will take you 10-15 minutes to fit.

You can also run a small 12volt compressor to this lead for pumping tyres up after a puncture repair .
