I'm not sure about you, but one of the first things that came to mind after shooting a modern compound bow for the first time was "I can't believe how fast that arrow is moving. I wonder how far this thing would shoot?" Well, here's the answer! We setup on top of a good hill with plenty of clearance and room to shoot as far as we could. We used some old standard hunting weight arrows with lighted nocks to make finding them easier to find and let 'er rip. We learned some things, set some future distance goals, and obviously had a blast.
