The field duck hunting has been red hot in New York. We head back out to a new spot that we found the day prior. Although a lot of the ducks have been feeding heaviest in the afternoon, we give it a shot first thing because the farmer had someone deer hunting that evening. We don't see all the ducks, like we figured and the fog made things difficult. We were still able to shoot a mix bag of mallards and black ducks in the fog!
