Day two in Yellowstone National Park finds us taking the Grand Loop Road North towards Mammoth, The Lamar Valley, and Tower Roosevelt (the road was being repaired so we did not make it to Tower Roosevelt or complete the loop).

We drug our feet a little at the West Gate KOA in West Yellowstone so we could be in the park in the evening. It turned out to be a good decision. While the animals were resting we were at Mammoth Hot Springs and viewing other geological features in the park.

We got to The Lamar Valley in the evening and were amazed at all the wildlife. We saw bears, pronghorn, elk, bison, deer, a coyote, and wolves. We all wished we could have had more time there, but unfortunately, we were all getting tired so we made our way back to camp.
