Today we remember all of the heroes who lost their lives on September 11, 2001 in New York City, Washington DC, and in Shanksville, PA. In February 2018 I had the honor of visiting and getting a private tour of the ‪@Flight93NationalMemorial‬ memorial and crash site in Shanksville, PA. I knew when driving through the gates how special of a place it was . I walked through the memorial museum and then out passed the memorial wall that had all 40 names of the #flght93 crew and passengers names on it. I then walked up to the crash site and then on to the observation deck where I said a prayer. Etched in glass on the observation decks glass it reads, “ A common field one day. A field of honor forever.”
My dad and the park rangers had tears in their eyes as they took photos of me praying there.
