UPDATE: I'm not sure if this still works with other games; I've tried it recently and it DOES validate, but it doesn't transfer the game progress to steam. It's probably because of xbox files being different with steam's. Or maybe I've tried it on Battlefield and that's an EA game. So many factors.

You can still go ahead and try it, but make sure to have back-up files before copy-pasting/cut-pasting.

Here's a tutorial on how to transfer INSTALLED xbox game pass games to steam EVEN IF you're not subscribed to game pass anymore!

Of course you need to BUY/HAVE the game in steam first before you can do this.
