Today I'm speaking to Jeff Grimshaw, a near 40 year veteran of first broadcast, then cable TV. He got his start in on-air promotion at NBC, then followed the emergence of cable to Bravo and the Playboy Channel as a senior writer producer.

From there he went on to handle all sports promotion for USA. He then served as Vice President of On-Air Promotion and Video Marketing for all Turner Broadcasting Networks, Sports Teams, and subsidiary companies. And ended his semi-illustrious career at the helm of his own boutique TV network marketing company.

Jeff provides numerous anecdotes and experiences from his career, from the launch of National Geographic to working with James Earl Jones at CNN. From pounding the pavement to get his first job to the tale of how he quit a job to launch a succesful freelance career.
