South Korean protesters gathered near Seoul's parliament on Friday (December 13) and carried on their daily rally against President Yoon Suk Yeol, ahead of Saturday's impeachment vote.

Some protesters dressed in black performed a mock funeral for ruling People Power Party (PPP) on stage. A man wearing a bear outfit also danced in the crowd. Organisers said about 150,000 attended the protest.

Opposition parties have introduced another impeachment bill and plan to hold a vote at 4 p.m. (0700 GMT) on Saturday (December 14). They need at least eight PPP members to pass the bill with the two-third majority required.

Yoon survived the first attempt to impeach him last Saturday (December 7) when most of his ruling PPP boycotted the vote. Since then at least seven PPP members have publicly supported a vote to impeach him.
