In this video, I will show you how to build a Supersonic World Eater. It is probably one of the fastest mining machines in the game, and it is relatively cheap. I built this in my first week of hardcore Minecraft.
To explain how fast it can mine, it can go at a top speed of 2 blocks per second (or 1 block every 5 seconds for safety), and every block it goes over goes from normal world height down to bedrock in just 1 bombing run. So, at a top speed, it can make a ravine down to bedrock 7200 blocks long, in just 1 hour! or 720 blocks long if you are going at a safe speed.
It is also pretty cheap to make, and definitely worth the time to make. Just 1 slice of it can make about a stack of diamond per hour. If you make it wider, it will find diamonds nearly every second! It also provides tons of other materials like cobblestone, dirt, gravel, all the ores, and much more just with 1 click of a noteblock.
