Train Crosses Over Trestle & Then Under Same Trestle! 818 Axle Coal Train With 2 DPUs Working Hard!

Coal Trains Crosses Gigantic Railroad Bridge Over Ohio River & Then Loops Around And Goes Under The Same Bridge! Big Loaded Coal Train With 200 Cars & 2 DPU Locomotives In The Middle Passes Me. 2 Other Trains Cross The Massive Railroad Bridge Over The River. These CSX & Norfolk Southern trains are in Kenova, West Virginia.
I rode to Kenova with Scott, @1960gambit to find some coal trains where the CSX and Norfolk Southern tracks cross. It started out slow but after waiting until almost noon we heard an eastbound CSX coal train calling the signals on 160.230 and heading towards Huntington, West Virginia. Look how long that train is! The train has a couple of hard working DPUs in the middle.
Then about 45 minutes later we heard an eastbound Norfolk Southern train on 161.250 and watched it cross the giant bridge that goes over the Ohio River and Kenova. The train is running geographically south but railroad east.
The next train is another giant coal train running railroad east over the big bridge. Listen to the loud bangs as the cars slam into each other several times as the train slows down. The train took the wye and then came back around and passed us a second time. This time it was running westbound under the big bridge and alongside the CSX main line. Was that awesome or what?! The train took the cars to the Ohio River coal yard and later in the day the locomotives ran eastbound light.
The final train in this video is a Norfolk Southern westbound manifest going over the railroad bridge from West Virginia into Ohio. This mixed freight did sound the horn a few times but I believe it was for the railroad maintenance of way workers on the bridge and not a horn salute. Lol.
