The University of Johannesburg will play host to the inaugural International conference on Food Security and Safety. The conference is the brainchild of a partnership between UJ and the Human Science Research Council - HSRC. As we know South Africa has had water shortages and a drought that has destroyed many of our staple crops like maize. To speak to us more about the inaugural conference is Dr Palesa Sekhejane from the HSRC.
