This week, JJ shows us one of her favorite exercises to go from the ‘baby’ shoulder-in to asking for a bit closer to the real thing, by going through the leg yield.

She also reminds us that shoulder-in has nothing to do with the reins and everything to do with the rider’s position and aids.

This video also has an outstanding review of the aids and our position for the shoulder-in as well as what to do when things don’t go as planned.
