A well travelled path no longer travelled, The Old Eyre Highway (road closed in 1976).
Where time has stood still; we explore the relics, caves and see first hand the hardships that must have been faced. The resourcefulness of both indigenous and non-indigenous people, needed to survive the harshness off the Nullabor, is apparent by the history we discover.
Karls father Roland has provided some amazing images from when he crossed the Nullabor in 1972. He was part of an early cave surveying expedition to map uncharted caves in WA.
