CBTV debuting in January 1982, was a children’s magazine show purported to be broadcast illegally from a pirate TV station (Channel 14) based in the boiler room of the Teddington Studios at Thames Television. Its main presenters were the comedy duo Jim Sweeney & Steve Steen, who at the start of each show would have to sneak past the security guard (played by Harry Fielder) on the gates of Teddington Studios to get to their rooftop studio. It ran for 4 series from 1982 till 1985 with 137 episodes.
