Rock fish, or rock bass, are fun to catch. I like to use the same bottom rig setup as I do for surf fishing. But instead of tying 2 hooks and a 2 oz sinker, I have a single hook and a 1 oz weight.

Technique: cast out and let the tide bounce your bait on the bottom.
