Come hang out in the Garmin G3000 booth, with E3 Aviation Association's very own Co-Founder John "Rain" Waters and Garmin's Kyle Ludwick at the EAA AirVenture Oshkosh convention.

Kyle takes John through a walkthrough of their Garmin G3000 which is an innovative avionics system designed by Garmin Aviation for light turbine aircraft. The integrated touchscreen system, contains multiple glass cockpit displays, for operating a synthetic vision system, and a three-dimensional displayed rendering of terrain.

This system allows you to control radios, comms, maps, flight planning, and has the best auto-landing technology in the industry. The G3000 aviates, navigates and communicates which means in the case of pilot incapacitation, it will self-navigate the aircraft to the nearest airport, communicate with ATC (Air Traffic Control) using English language and voice communication, and converts all your screens and systems to easy to understand info for non-pilots.

As a passenger, it can help you get safe on the ground in cases where the pilot is unable to do it or if there is rapid depressurization.

The G3000 integrates with an iPad, iPhone and even Garmin watches. It's built intuitively and Garmin is the only company in avionics that integrate this type of auto-land in the total package. In June 2021, it won the 2020 Collier Trophy for "the greatest achievement in aeronautics or astronautics in America" during the preceding year.
