With Grenn we have another case of a character who did make it into the TV adaption of Game Of Thrones however they are killed in the show when they are not in to a song of ice and fire books. Grenn is a loyal member of the Night's Watch and one of the closest friends and allies of Jon Snow. We see his adventures beyond the wall and his actions during the battle benteth the wall against the wildlings. And That is where book Grenn and Show Grenn diverege as in the show Grenn is killed during the battle where he is does not in the books and is still and active part of the story. So why was this beloved character killed in the show, and was it one of the few changes Game Of Thrones made that actually worked really well.

Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen was trapped on Dragonstone by her brother King Aegon ii with no way to escape her fate. What was to come was the final showdown between the two main players of the dance of the dragons and bring the war into its final phase.
