Do you use tuples in C#? They provide a shorthand syntax that can replace an entire custom type and even outperform it singlehandedly! One would expect every C# programmer to use them, then.
This video explains the syntax and semantics of ValueTuples, the workhorse of the tuples syntax in C#. Then, we move forward to use tuples in an operation that joins several familiar concepts into one: Data modeling, behavior, sequences, LINQ, defensive coding. At the heart of that operation, you will find a tiny tuple that carries the values, making code shorter by half, a tad faster, and even helping remove any traces of defensive branching from the consuming code.
What more could one ask for?
