Rally Heroes - Triumph TR7 - Great British Car Share series 3

Next up in our ‘Rally Heroes’ series is perhaps one of the most unlikely of cars to have been built for rallying - the Triumph TR7.

A sports car was the last thing the seventies British motoring public needed, but it was every bit the car they deserved.

Meanwhile John Davenport, who was in charge of British Leyland’s competition department felt the humble British wedge was deserving of something more under that big bonnet, so bestowed on the TR7 the ultimate rally super hero power…a V8!

Sarah Crabtree and Paul Woodford are back behind the wheel of an iconic British classic car, unravelling the folklore which led to the TR7 becoming a legendary rally car.

The Great British Car Share continues, and it has never had a better soundtrack!
