(Brand New!) Warrington's Own Buses Volvo BZL: BV24 LPN

The Brand New fleet is here!

A little over a month ago at the time of upload, Warrington's Own Buses began to release it's brand new Volvo BZL single decker buses into service, after a successful trial earlier this year with demo unit BV72 KPF (    • (First Day!) Warrington's Own Buses G...   ).

BV24 LPN was the very first vehicle in service, although due to other commitments, I haven't had time to sample the production motors after originally filming EV1 - That was until 2 days ago at the time of upload, when I was able to finally ride 1012 and 1001. They're both part of a total order of 105 BZLs and BZL DDs for the town, replacing nearly the entire current fleet.

With just under two weeks of total service diagrams under it's belt so far, 1001 is still brand new, and you can tell. The BZLs are absolutely fantastic, and I can't wait to see the DD versions that are due with us later this year, even if I'm a bit sad to see some of the legacy fleet go from an enthusiast perspective.
