Government Withdraws 3 New Criminal Law Bills, Plans To Introduce Them Afresh

The three new criminal law bills that were introduced by the Centre in the Lok Sabha to revamp the criminal justice system in the country have been withdrawn by the government after recommendations by the parliamentary standing committee.

New versions of the bills will be drafted based on the recommendations by the committee.
