O our Almighty Lord, who created the heavens and the earth in a unique order, the sole owner of hearts and generations! We praise You in a manner befitting the majesty of Your essence and the greatness of Your power, and we send infinite peace and blessings upon our Beloved Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). O Lord! You have informed us that "wealth and children are the adornment of the worldly life." They are the delight of our eyes, the joy of our hearts. Grant us the ability to raise our children, whom You have entrusted to us, our light of the eye, the piece of our heart, as individuals who are pleasing to You, adorned with the morals of our Prophet, and beneficial to Islam and humanity. Our greatest wish, our most sincere prayer for them, is that You make them among those who establish the prayer correctly, who are elevated by prostration, who bow in ruku', who stand firm in qiyam, with complete faith and a sound heart.
O Lord! Just as our forefather Prophet Ibrahim (as) pleaded, "My Lord, make me an establisher of prayer, and [many] from my descendants. Our Lord, and accept my supplication." (Quran, Ibrahim, 14:40), we too raise our helpless hands to You, imploring You with our most sincere supplications. Instill in the hearts of our children the love for prayer, the fondness for the mosque, and the longing for the adhan (call to prayer). Make them love the prayer; grant them to see it not as a burden, but as the sweetest, most peaceful way to meet with You, to speak with You, and to be in Your presence. Make them among those who perform their prayers on time, with tranquility and adherence to its pillars, contemplating its meaning, and with full devotion. May the prayers they perform restrain their eyes from the forbidden, their tongues from falsehood, and their hands from evil. Let prayer be the center of their lives, their compass, the harbor they seek refuge in during their most difficult moments, and the most beautiful expression of their gratitude in their happiest moments. Let the marks of prostration shine on their foreheads, and let the light of worship be seen on their faces.
O my Lord! Make prayer for our children not just a habit, but a shield that shapes their lives, beautifies their morals, and protects them from all kinds of indecency and evil, from wickedness and ugliness. Make them role models with their prayers, inviters who encourage their friends and loved ones to pray. From their descendants, bring forth generations who will establish the prayer correctly until the Day of Judgment and who will not let the banner of Tawhid (monotheism) fall. Make our children youths who understand, live by, and promote the Quran, and who firmly adhere to the Sunnah of the Prophet. Make them a "delight of our eyes" in this world, and in the Hereafter, make them righteous offspring who send good prayers for us and keep our book of deeds open. Grant us the honor of being among those about whom it will be said on the Day of Judgment, "Blessed are the parents who raised such righteous children." Protect our children from the spiritual emptiness, mental distress, and all kinds of bad habits that heedlessness of prayer brings. Make them among those who are revived by prayer, who live by prayer, and who breathe their last on the prayer mat. Amen, O Accepter of prayers.
