Fish Traps: How to catch aquarium fish like a PRO

Catching aquarium fish that are small, fast and/or potentially dangerous to handle pose a real challenge to aquarists. Our aquarium inhabitants are delicate creatures, so it's important to treat them gently if/when it comes time to move them. Nets are the most common way aquarium hobbyists catch and remove fish from their tanks. However, sometimes a net is an inferior tool for catching craftier or especially skittish tank residents.

Fortunately, there is very cool tool that does accomplish this difficult task: a fish trap!

In today's Marine Depot video, Robert demonstrates how to bait and catch aquarium fish safely using a simple acrylic fish trap. All it requires is some tasty fish food, an inexpensive fish trap and a little patience.
