Volume 5 is the final part of the first true arc of the radiant Lovecraftian nightmare that is Made in Abyss, and sees the party finish up their adventure on layer 5 before heading down to layer 6.

After this, I'll assemble the 'Made in Abyss full story' video.

This is part 5 of our little series, aimed at explaining, exploring, analyzing, reviewing and making theories regarding Akihito Tsukushi's pitch black magnum opus - and even looking at a few of the controversies, fandom shenanigans and discourses around the anime and manga.
