Road trip through the centre of Australia | Crossing into the Northern Territory

We headed out from Port Augusta and on to the Stuart Highway to head north to the Northern Territory. We did a couple of free camps and also spent the night in a caravan park at Alice Springs (right next door to Alice Springs Brewing Co - winning!!) and then a couple of nights at Daly Waters Pub ($8 pints during happy hour - winning again!!).

We then headed out for the final leg of our journey to the cattle station we are working at this year. We hit the station access road at about 4:30pm and decided to push through and try to make it to the homestead, located 65km in from the highway. It was super slow going with lots of soggy mud and some gnarly corrugations but about 4.5hrs later, we reached our final stop.
