Engaging communities in circular solutions

What meaningful role do community members play as cities and companies transition to economic systems that are circular and produce low or no waste? The City of Cleveland is working across sectors to transition the city from a linear economy (take, make, waste) to a circular one (no waste). The goal of the effort is to improve the health and wellbeing of Cleveland residents, while creating more local and green jobs.
In this session John Holm, Vice President of Strategic Initiatives at PYXERA Global and a key partner in the effort, explored success and challenges faced by the collaborative as well as how Circular Cleveland is working to center most-impacted community members in the work.
