Catching HUGE Snook on The Beach With Jigs and Spooltek Lures

EPIC morning of Snook fishing in the surf with Joshua Taylor from Salty Scales. This beach area was holding some HUGE breeding females that were hungry for the jigs and spooltek artificial lures we were fishing with. During the summer months these Snook that are spawning in the inlets and along the beach have a beautiful light coloration. I think we caught a total of seven fish during a three and a half hour period, three of which were 36 inches and over.

We were catching these Snook on white and chartreuse colored flarehawk jigs and on a silver/green nine inch Spooltek lure. Joshua lost an absolute giant of a fish on a jig. I managed to land all of the big ones I hooked into,
