2021 is a special year for us in SGH as we commemorate our bicentennial.

We have come a long way with the nation - caring for generations of Singaporeans through good times and tough ones. What we have achieved did not happen by chance. It is the result of visionary and dedicated colleagues, anchored by a strong moral compass, dedicated commitment to our values and sense of purpose.

This song is penned by SGH’s very own Senior Resident, Dr Lucy Jennifer Davis from the Division of Aneasthesiology and Perioperative Medicine, in commemoration of the SGH Bicentennial celebrations. It is performed "live" first time for DPM Mr Heng Swee Kiat and Minister Gan Kim Yong at the SGH200 celebrations event “Rooted in Excellence” on 29 March 2021.
