Shifting can get out of tune especially when you're slurring the bow, but this 3-step technique called Ninja Shifting will help you get it right. Our Suzuki cello students start shifting in Book 2, and this video focuses on the big shift in Beethoven Minuet in G in Book 3. 1) Measure the distance
2) Grappling hook
3) Smoke bomb
4) Optional - check your shirt for lint before recording. I didn't do that this time
