Forever Young (Bob Dylan cover) GUITAR LESSON play-along with chords and lyrics - mouth organ

Описание к видео Forever Young (Bob Dylan cover) GUITAR LESSON play-along with chords and lyrics - mouth organ

For my video with improved layout arrangement of chord and lyrics:    • Forever Young (Bob Dylan cover) GUITA...

This is my version of Bob Dylan’s song ‘Forever Young’. I am playing in the key of Cmajor and blowing a key Cmajor mouth organ.

My strumming pattern: (Four beats to the bar / thin plectrum)
1 2 3 4
DDdDdDd

Count: 1 quick downstroke on top three or four strings
2 slow downstroke on all six strings then down on top string
3 quick downstroke on top strings then down on top string
4 same as three
I tend to put more emphasis on count 1 keep the beat. This is the basic pattern - however there are small variations here and there to add interest.
I have taken the liberty of adding the mouth organ riff to the song. I would love to think that Bob approved.

For a version of the song with capo on 2nd fret:    • Forever Young (Bob Dylan cover) GUITA...

The song first appeared, in two different versions, on Dylan's 1974 album ‘Planet Waves’. It reflects a blessing from a parent to a child - Dylan had just become a father.
Covered by many artists including Harry Belafonte, Joan Baez, Johnny Cash, The Pretenders, Dianna Ross , Meat Loaf and Rod Stewart (While ostensibly a different song, the Stewart song actually used the same melody and many of the same lyrics as the Dylan song. Stewart conceded it was the same song by agreeing to share composer royalties with Dylan.)
