Description:
In this program I have shown the method of interconnecting FactoryIO & TIA Portal Version 15, to control the “Conveyor Belt “scenario created in Factory IO.
For this you will have to download the Template from FactoryIO website through this link,

Select the version as per TIA Portal installed in your PC i.e. TIA Portal V13, V14, or V15
After Downloading the Template extract and copy this file to the directory,
C:\Users\Your PC Login Name \Documents\Automation

After copying the program to above directory, go to desktop and run the TIA PORTAL “Run as administrator”

Remember you must open both TIA Portal and Factory IO “Run as administrator” otherwise you will not be able to connect TIA Portal and Factory IO.

Another advantage is that, you don’t need to purchase any Hardware PLC, Conveyor Belts or sensors. FactoryIO has multiple items already present in its Library. Once the FactoryIO & TIA Portal are connected successfully you can develop and test variety of programs of your choice.
