Walt Disney World Vlog | Day 7 | Animal Kingdom & Magic Kingdom | August 2022 | Adam Hattan

On this, our last day of this series, we head over to Animal Kingdom for a morning of fun seeing animals and The Festival of the Lion King. We grab lunch at Rainforest Cafe, pop back to the Grand Floridian for a cool down and then enjoy some late night fun in Magic Kingdom seeing Happily Ever After.

Starting off in Disney's Grand Floridian Main Building Club Level, we enjoy a light breakfast in the lounge before we take the Disney Transport bus over to Disney's Animal Kingdom. Arriving at Animal Kingdom, we pick up Gary's wheelchair from the Stroller and Wheelchair rentals on the right as you enter.

Making our way into the Asia area of the park, we stop-by the lagoon to watch the Jungle Book version of Kite Tails and we also spot the barge drummers. It's then on to Expedition Everest! Afterward, we catch the last few moments of the Lion King Kite Tails, before making our way over to Africa to ride Kilimanjaro Safaris. Having spotted a few animals, we continue our trek in the Gorilla Fall Exploration Trail, before we head to Disney's Festival of the Lion King!

The show is now 90% back to the way it was before the Pon de Replay, with the Tumble Monkeys and Flying Bird now back in all their magical glory! The singers were amazing on the day we visited. From Africa, we head into the Valley of Mo'ara and Pandora: The World of Avatar. There we see some floating mountains and enjoy some air conditioning on Na'vi River Journey.

Heading out of the park, we stop in to Rainforest Cafe for a lovely lunch, before making our way back to Grand Floridian to avoid a storm. We chill out in the room for a bit and enjoy some light bites from the Club Level's evening selection.

It's then off to Magic Kingdom to enjoy some Extended Evening Hours with our friends Brooke and Tommy (he's camera shy). We have a lovely evening riding Haunted Mansion, The Many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh, as well as meeting Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse in their 50th Anniversary outfits. A highlight of the evening was enjoying Happily Ever After from the Tangled Toilets whilst Gary got a Tangled Lantern photo.
