Story Time With Michele! 🌳 "The Little Tree" 🌳 read aloud for kids

It's Story Time with Michele! Please take a moment to SUBSCRIBE to the channel! This lovely story about a little tree 🌳 and her seed will warm your heart and make you think! Upon first reading I was really touched by the motherly tree character. She wants what is best for her seed, and is able to let her go out into the world to flourish and grow instead of keeping her close by where she knows she will not be able to. There is also an important message about the environment. We can easily see the devastating effects the townspeople are having on the forest as the story progresses. The illustrator does a graceful job of showing the forest get smaller and smaller as the homes begin to pop up everywhere on the mountain. Perhaps younger readers won't pick up on this detail, but it could be a jumping off point for a discussion about the environment with your older readers. 🌳
