Whether you're hosting Kubernetes in the public cloud or in your own data center, managing persistent data is a critical component and Ceph offers an ideal storage backend for the task. By providing native hooks for CephFS and RBD - and hooks for OpenStack and public cloud architectures -- developers can ensure container data is preserved and can be managed externally, regardless of the state of individual containers and pods. In this session, you'll see how to create CephFS and RBD resource pools in Ceph and deploy them as persistent volumes in your Kubernetes cluster.
