Wish you all a very happy Krishna Janmashtami🙏🏼

On this auspicious day, we are very happy to present a unique composition, composed by our Grandfather Suchindram Sri S P Sivasubramaniam on Lord Sri Krishna.

This song on Lord Krishna portrays three dimensions of his personality in three different ragas, which may also be connected with the three great scriptures relating to Lord Krishna. The pallavi and anupallavi expresses the fundamental and recurring theme that he is the Supreme Being, essence of the Vēdas, and the master of the Bhagvad Gītā. The first Charanam in Sahānā depicts his Childhood exploits, which are told of in the Bhāgavatam, and final Charanam narrates of his role as the Pandavas' strength and support in the Great War of Mahābhārata.

We were very happy to work with brilliant musicians like R Sankaranarayanan, Dr S Karthick and B Sree Sundar Kumar.

We are grateful to Charsur Arts Foundation for graciously coming together in bringing out our grandfather's compositions.

லீலைகள் பல புரிந்து
பாவியாம் கம்ஸனை வதைத்து இப்பார் தனிலே

ஹம்ஸானந்தி

பாரதப் போரில் பஞ்சபாண்டவர்க்கே துணை நின்று
பார்த்தனுக்கே சாரதியாய் கீதோபதேசம் செய்து
துரியோதனாதியரைப் பொருது போரில் வென்று
தர்மனுக்கே முடிசூட்டி - பரமபதம் தந்தருளும் வேத போத (கீதா நாயகன்...)
