This tragic piano piece was composed by Rentaro Taki (1879--1903) , Japanese famous composer.
He wrote it four months before he died.
He had a serious tuberculosis of the lungs.
The words "Doctor, Doctor" were written by himself on the blank of his autograph manuscripts of this song.　滝廉太郎の遺作
