"I play Ash, he's an adventurer, dancer, street dancer, he travels all over the world following his idol. He gets to see him, he gets disappointed so he decides to take his on. He gathers a crew, falls in love during it, and comes up, with Eva's character, with a whole new style. A mix of two worlds."

"You know it was mixed because I used to be a dancer and at first a dance movie I was never really sure if I wanted to do it because I had really moved just into the acting. But then I read the script and I saw the first movie and it is really just a very different type of dance movie. And the mix of those worlds really intrigued me so once I read the script I was very excited."

"What I was really attracted by this movie is that I am a dancer, obviously, and I have trained in acting but they offered me to play this character who does a dance that I have never done before, salsa, latin and tango and I was so excited about that, I felt challenged and I felt that I could really develop the character and work and have acting work rather than just playing what I'm usually used to do."

"I think basically what we wanted to do is just to make everything a little bigger so we just wanted the dancing to be bigger, we wanted the locations to be more spectacular, we're going all around Europe so all of the dance routines are set in Rome and Paris and Berlin and London so we're really trying to ramp up the whole movie so that the fans of the first film can feel like they're seeing something even better than the first one and obviously we cater for the new ones."

STORYLINE
BEHIND THE SCENES ON 'STREETDANCE 2 3D'
Filming for the follow up to the British movie hit "StreetDance" is underway and this time they are going global.
"StreetDance 2 3D" is shooting on location throughout Europe in cities such as Paris, Rome, Berlin and London.
On Wednesday (13 JUL 2011) the cast were on set in a studio in west London.
Sampson, who shot to fame after winning the 2008 series of "Britain's Got Talent," said he was thrilled to be invited back:
