Not much love is given to the SD edition of GoF2, but it was the OG. Even though the technology had moved on to HD and Full HD when Supernova was released, the story had to also continue in SD for those who couldn't upgrade. Here's the Supernova intro sequence (and bonus mission footage!) in glorious SD, in glorious 4K.

I'd love to showcase more SD content at some point!
