If you are wondering how to fix trailer lights and want to fix yours when you rewire it why not use a extension cord, also check the ground wire for your trailer lights. Trailer lights can be a problem for many people many times they have problems with their trailer lights maybe the turn signal is out maybe the brake lights are out maybe one brake light they don’t like driving at night because they’re scared they’re going to get pulled over perhaps. Trailer lights on a boat trailer which is getting submersed into the water at the boat ramp when you were launching retrieving your boat can be a problem as well, it might be a good idea to get waterproof trailer lights preferably LED and have it correctly wire. Also if your having a problem with your trailer lights maybe you should check your ground. Maybe you have a trailer and you have to have running lights on it as well and you don’t want to get into a problem with the police and/or DOT trouble
