Following a screening of “Emilia Pérez” at the Cannes Film Festival on May 18, the 31-year-old actress received a standing ovation for her performance in the movie, which also stars Zoe Saldaña and Karla Sofía Gascón. In footage from the premiere, Selena is seen taking in the moment as the room applauds and later appears to wipe away tears.
