A dangerous dive in search for the dinga-dinga | SLICE

Amad belongs to the Antakaran people. In the village, he is called Amad « the diver ». When the dry season arrives, he takes advantage of the wind shifts to go out to the sea for diving. The object of his desire: the dinga-dinga or sea cucumber.

But diving here is dangerous. Men have to go out further and further from the shore in search of it. Challenging their physical limits, they dive deeper in order to snatch the sea cucumber from the sand.
