In this video I will show you how to make a single platform stand for your monitor that can be used in many different ways.

The build shown in this DIY / How to video is flexible and can be reconfigured to different sizes and uses in a matter of seconds. The height of the monitor can be as short or tall as you need for it to be. Location?... just about anywhere you want to use it. Place it on a table, night stand, floor, book shelf or even held in place by a couch cushion / mattress. This easy to make stand has made our family's use of baby monitor so much more effective and convenient.

Parts:
1/2" PVC (roughly 5 feet)
1/2" PVC elbow connectors (X4)
1/2" PVC T connector
1/2" PVC male connector (only threaded on outside / male portion)
1/2" PVC end cap (threaded)
Wood for platform (roughly 2" X 5")
#8-32 X 1 1/2" machine screw
#8-32 wing nut
Washer, split washer
