Dr. Nitsana Spigland, Chief of Pediatric Surgery and Chief of Pediatric Trauma at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center, speaks to the benefits of the CADC's collaborative approach when dealing with complex congenital malformations in infants and children.

Dr. Spigland also looks to the future, speaking to the establishment of a multidisciplinary bowel management program, bringing surgical and gastroenterology colleagues together for the continued benefit of patients with complex colorectal malformations. Similarly, Dr. Spigland shares plans for growing an Esophageal Atresia program, bringing together speech and swallowing therapists, endoscopists, radiologists, surgeons, and gastroenterologists to provide post-operative support to patients born with this life-threatening malformation.
