The Cat's Eye Nebula. An Astrophotography collaborative project between Astrobloke & Simon's Astro
NGC6543 The Cat's Eye Nebula had proved quite challenging as it is way too easy to blow out the core details of which there is a lot.
We knew we could not compete with images taken with Hubble or JWST but felt with some work we could reveal some of the core details.
In total we gathered 10Hrs of HOO narrowband data on the target which is quite bright so just 3 minute subs. On the core we used a combination of 5 and 10 second LRGB subs totalling 46mins.
We are really pleased with the final results.
