Every since i'd quit my corporate job at the end of last year, i have been on a tight budget and have been living frugally. I am constantly scouting for good deals and looking for money saving hacks. For 24 Hours I spent just one dollar in Sydney on Food AND Drinks. This 24 hour experience is essentially a challenge for myself to see, if I were to become more conscious on my spending, how much money I can actually save. This video is one that touches on money saving hacks in Sydney Australia, including where to find cheap eats and free food.

While filming this video was an interesting experience, I understand that doing anything for just 24 hours only provides a very limited snapshot of what living on $1 dollar truly entails. The reason I was able to do this was due to the very fact that it was only for 24 hours. What I did notice during the filming of this video, was how much my mindset shifted when the availability of a basic necessity becomes an uncertainty – all my energy that day was shifted towards figuring out what I can do to avoid staying hungry.
