Too many graves dug around me

I won't let this take hold of my only will to live
The whole neighbourhood cannot sleep
The worst fears run into the streets
Faced to this plague we won't wait the deceit to be deceived

Unknown disease - It turns you into a freak
Scary stories - The attics start to creek
Scourged by an invisible force - The knot can't be undone by ourselves
The stranger's appearance has predicted the unstoppable death that we await

Helpless callings - The healers can do nothing
Helpless cryings - on God we're relying
Until the day we disembowel the pillows
Until the day we find out the feather knots

With the feathers inside they tangle 'round the wire
The doom bird's work begins - It turns into a slayer
It's the feather's curse

Smell - The smell of death invades the whole city
Now it spills into my home
My blood and flesh are being withdrawn
Why ? Why is this happening ? Our ill-fated community does not deserve that.
We'll find the witch, we'll kill the black cat

I give the bird to the flames
